KENTO and KAEDE: Ranma and Akane's children, twins.  Unlike his
parents, Kento tends to be quiet and calm, concentrating on actions rather
than talking - except when his twin sister is around, with whom he argues
constantly.  OTOH, Kaede has inherited Ranma's arrogance and 
overconfidence, along with Akane's bad temper!  As a side effect of 
Ranma's curse, the twins take on each other's appearance when splashed with
cold water.

Sounds interesting. But it causes conflict with your idea of them
constantly arguing. they would be closer in some ways then Identicical
twins. I imagin their intire life was one long game of fool the adults.

I was thinking that their relationship would be very much like Ranma and
Akane's - they always fight, but deep down they're extremely close to each
other.

Also if they had this curse from childhood they more than likley would not
have a gender preference they would be equally comfortable as a boy or a girl.

You're probably right.  I use the "he" for Kento and the "she" for Kaede
because of their "normal" (i.e. hot water) forms.

       TEPPEI: Ranma and Ukyo's son.  I haven't really decided much about
what he'll be like - any suggestions here?

Only one suggestion and that is that if the others have a curse related to
their parents he would as well.

Maybe, maybe not.  My basic idea is that Teppei would be the "straight man"
in this fic (although Kento could also play that role - when Kaede isn't around)

       SHABON: Daughter of Ranma and Shampoo.  Slightly airheaded, but not
as badly as many of the characters we see in anime.  As a side-effect of
Shampoo's Jusenkyo curse, she has cat ears and a tail, is very agile, and
likes to sit in trees (fortunately for Ranma, he's gotten over his fear of
cats in this reality).  Carries a naginata (a staff with a blade on the end,
fot those of you who don't know what that is). 

Well I do love cat girls so I'd have to say I like this. Only thing is I
hate seeing
cat girls with just a furry tale and ears. It seems like a jigsaw puzzle
with the 
wrong pieces attached. If she has a furry tale then at the very least she
should have a strip of fur from her head down her spine. At the most she
should have a soft downy coat over her entire body.

Yeah, I'll probably do more than just the ears and tail.
