If you've read the manga, I forget which volume, Ranma does in fact once
pulls out a mysterious hammer and beans Ryoga on the head. It occurs when
Ryoga gets superstrength after some ancient man painted a smiley face on
his stomach. Anyhow, heh, I stand corrected from whatever I've said
before. Both Ranma and Akane can call upon the mysterious and overused
hammer....
I guess Ranma would never wish bodily harm to Akane... so he won't pull
such a cheap trick on her...

swap bodies, does Akane's body keep the access or does that privilege go
with her mind? I would guess that either the Akane persona retains
hammerspace access even in Ranma's body or that (if it can be accessed by
only female body _and_ mind) neither of them can pull a mallet. The
reasoning is based on the observation that Ranma-chan never reaches into
hammerspace, so body alone wouldn't seem to count.

I think it'll have to be body and mind. Just like with the techniques,
except, most probably, Akane would only be able to access the Deminsional
Hammer only in Ranma's female disguise. Hmmm... but I got another question.
ABout the curse. Would it still effect Ranma, or Akane? If I recall the
Formula 119 did a fanfic where Sam Beket jumped into Ryouga's body, than
Sam/Ryouga jumped into a river, where as Ryouga would usually transformed.
This didn't happen. In the holding cell, where they kept Ryouga, Ryouga
became P-Chan, but in life, Sam stayed normal.. Hmmm.. Just something to
ponder!
