Subject: Spiffy's hip idea and my lurkdom...

When I returned from CORNERSTONE '97, I saw that Spiffy wrote:
The other day, I was straightening up my room when I found a lone
five dollar bill lying under a rug. I picked up the piece of paper and
looked at it. As I looked at it, I wondered, <Where has this bill been?
Who's hands has it passed into before it landed into mine? It could have
once belonged the president, a murderer, a hero. It could have traveled
around the world. It has been places I have never visited, and never will.>
Of course, at this point, I went out and spent it, and didn't give it a
second thought until now.

This is an actual movie. I forget the title, but it was a Short Cut style
movie where we see the same dollar go through lots of characters hands (I
believe Wyonna Rider and Brendan Fraiser were in it). Very nice movie. It
was on the Bravo channel a few months ago.

And as long as I'm here, I might as well say that as of today, I'm going on
98% lurking mode. Why? Well, if you had a 15-page report on Environment
Ethics of the Brazilian Rainforests due in 2 weeks, a cultural report on
the Architecture of Chicago due this Saturday, and two short stories and a
poem due on Tuesday, as well as a project you need to do for your boss
tomorrow, *and* two fanfics and your own novel to write, you would limit
your email input too. I'm not completely disappearing--I just limiting my
fanfic quota to a few at a time and I won't be able to do any C&C at all.

My Sailormoon Ranma Crossover Heart/Home is put on hold until the end of
July. However, I still am working on the Reunions: Ryouga story because its
turning into something bigger than I have planned (I only wanted it three
pages long and now its over the 60k limit) and I really, really like what
I've written so far. Hopefully, my self-imposed exile will free up a little
more time for me to get stuff done so I can work on it (after all, most of
it is written during classtime ^_-). If all goes well, it will be done by
the end of the month, if not sooner.

To David Lermer: Dude, we have to meet to discuss your ideas. Is this
Friday good for you?

To Terrance: I should have the Kitten edit by the end of this week.

Thanks a lot for you guys reading my ramblings. I do plan to graduate this
August, so until then...
