Frankly this is pretty dissatisfying. You haven't told us enough to
judge IC/OOC. We need to know what drove this character to suicide, what
was going through the character's mind.

As I said, first/last.

Take it this way if you want, but for the record, I was not saying that
this story ought to be trashed; only that it needed work.

I should apologize, I was rather abrupt and it wasn't called for. I'll try
and see if I can finish it off. R1/2 isn't my thing :)
