"Boy, I've really done it this time," Ranma thought as he
flew through space. "I mean, I've made Akane mad before, but
this is the *highest* she's *ever* kicked me."
	In the distance, he spied a large red dot. It gradually
grew larger, and Ranma realized that he was falling toward it.
	*Must be one of those planets. Mercury or sumthin'."
After a few minutes, he landed on a mass of metal and wires.

	Back on earth, in the JPL at Caltech, over a hundred
scientists, engineers, and reporteers cried in greif and
frustration as the first photos from the Mars Pathfinder
abruptly cut off.
	For several minutes, there was no sound, as the video
screens on the wall all hissed in a haze of static. Suddenly,
the monitors streamed back to life to see...
	The assembled crowd gasped in shock as the video displayed 
a picture of a pigtailed young man rubbing his back, and limping 
around the probe. 
	Somebody cried "Life on Mars!", but suddenly the image gave 
way and the view spun tothe face of another young man with a bandanna.
	Dr. Takamoto of the JPL would be one of the few people at
the JPL to understand what was said next:
	"zzzzttt...*Excuse me, Can you tell me the way to Furinken
High?*zzt..."
