Hmm.. as I recall, in Chapter 3 of Dark Tournament, Kurama said:
"You are human," Kurama explained. "I wouldn't dare hurt a human. If you
were youkai, then I would have attacked you long before your Cat Thorn attack."

Exactly... but. Now that he knows she's not just a human, he shouldn't
hesitate at all! He's _youkai_, and a damn good fighter at that. It's kinda
silly/suicical (considering tournaments in YYH univ) to hesitate...

And I've never seen Kurama fight or hurt a girl. Maybe it's because being
human influenced him to being compassionate, humanitarian, and kind. :)

Not that compassionate... Hmm. How much of yyh have you seen/read?
Kurama-sama is one hell of a fighter, and is definitely one of the more
crueler ones in a fight. Just about every opponent he or Hiei fights ends up
dying, so... ^^;;
