Well.

Gryphon just released the first of seven parts in 'Twilight,' the largest FI
story to date, to raac. Since the Redneck, Washuu, and selected CFMF
officers begin appearing with the second part, this puts extra pressure on
me to get 'Wilderness,' the story of Redneck and the CFMF's involvement in
the GENOM War (UF4), finished.

After all, I've been working on it, off and on, for over a year.

Lately, other projects, my personal comics/manga/fanzine company, and a
general malaise re: writing have slowed me down immensely on Wilderness, and
thus far I have only Parts 1, 2, and 3 completed, although large amounts of
text exist in the other 4 parts. To speed up editing, I am contemplating
putting them here to be looked over.

Now, based on my own statements re: C&C, and the unintended flames therein,
I find myself singularly reluctant to do this. Therefore, I leave it up to
those interested parties to call for, or shout down, such a post (which will
be pretty large- each part averages 65K each).

Here's a quick listing of sample content material:

* The return of Rianna and Mayl, the Privateers
* Writing by Larry Mann, Martin (PCHammer) Rose, and Ben 'Gryphon' Hutchins
(and virtually everyone else in Eyrie, for that matter)
* New characters, including imports from Gold Digger, Star Trekker,
Transformers, Silbuster, Ninja High School, Star Wars, David Weber's Honor
Harrington series, Lois McMaster Bujold's Barrayar series, and more
* Comedy, both broad and subtle
* Epic space battles
* Massive death and destruction
* What happened to Empress Malificent and Leeanna's sisters after 'The
Quagmire Project'
* When and how Redneck got the Jedi training we saw in 'One Fine Mess'
* How to pronounce Tellarite insults

I'm sure I've left something out, but I think this covers the main points. }:-{D

Anyway, let me know if y'all want the thing. 

One final note: I -am- working on Ecchi 1/2, but for some reason writing a
Kasumi-rides-Ranma's-passion-pony scene just stalls me completely. When it's
ready, I'll post it.
