What's coming is a posting of the first three parts (one every so often,
give each part time to percolate) of 'Wilderness,' the second
grand-epic-my-gods-it's-HUGE story about the Redneck- this time, his role in
the great GENOM war depicted in UNDOCUMENTED FEATURES 4: CROSSROADS.

It's written in an unusual style, borrowed from a couple of Star Trek novels
I read in high school. (Diane Duane's 'Spock's World' comes to mind.) The
NOW chapters, i. e. Chapter 3/NOW, contain the main storyline. The THEN
chapters, i. e. 1/THEN, recount past events in Redneck's life, which may or
may not be relevant to the accompanying /NOW chapter. 

It's unfinished. TThere may be gaps I have forgotten to patch here and
there, and my editing to date has been spotty at best- the whole thing will
get a thorough rewrite before posting to the Eyrie Productions archive
(http://www.eyrie.net/) and raac. 

There is more text- the entire first draft is about 3/4 complete, and right
now I'm working on actual battle scenes for Part 4, which is where the
Second Battle of Zeta Cygni is recounted. 

That is, when I'm not working on edits for upcoming projects like 'Twilight.'

Or when I'm not trying to make headway on -other- projects like 'Warrior's
Legacy Battle 06: A Private Little War' or 'Ecchi 1/2' or 'The Computer is
Never Wrng' or 'The Politics of Insurrection' or 'Semper Liberis' or 'The
Legend of Mayl'...

... etc etc etc.

(And let's pass over my self-employment worries- yes, White Lightning
Productions -is- my main source of income, and if you can draw worth half a
damn, feel free to submit something.)

So, anyway, here it is, now pardon me while I pass out... it's been a fun
