[imagine this intro as a series of short scenes, each very quickly
following the other, like the intro of Tekken II]
>From behind, we see a balding man, wearing a purple skirt - HEIHACHI -
standing at the edge of a bubbling volcano. The camera quickly spins
around him and zooms on his eyes. They stare emptily into space,
devoid of emotion. As the picture halts, it morphs into another par
of blankly staring pupils, and zooming out, we see a well-bult man
with white, almost silvery hair - LEE - walking through a dark alley.
Another quick fade, and we now see a kangaroo, standing among a group
of bushes - ALEX. It is night. The camera follows his gaze to a
house, in through a window, where a young japanese woman is lying in
her bed - JUN. She is tossing violently, indicating that she does not
sleep well. The camare zooms extremely close on her gray sheets, and
when it zooms out again, just as quick, we now follow a harley-
davidson motorcycle going along a high-way. The driver, wearing sun-
glasses, has an impressive, high-standing haircut, and the Bruce
Lee-copy behind holds on to his back desperately, his hair pulled
backwards by the wind - PAUL and LAW. We only see them for a few
seconds, then the picture fades away again, revealing a big, robot-
like man, sparring in an traditional-style dojo with a young,
chinese-looking woman, a man in what looks like ancient samurai
armour watching amusedly - JACK-2 and YOSHIMITSU. In one of the few
special-effects of this intro, the picture almost seems to shatter,
and zooming out, we see that it is under jaws of a purple, demonic
creature, it's face and hair somewhat similar to the man in the
beginning - DEVIL. Next to him is an angelic woman, who looks in all
regards like the demon's opposite - ANGEL. Then, it all fades to
blackness again, and a small Tekken-logo appears, followed by
another, larger text:

a Tekken fanfic

all C&C appreciated
The logo fades away very slowly, transforming into yet another,
this one saying "CHAPTER I: SHORT MOURNING". The new logo is slightly
transparent, and behind it, three more tiny scenes follow - we see
the man at the volcano again, then the silver-haired one reappears,
this time talking to a deeply tanned, muscular american - BRUCE - and
finally, the angelic woman sits on a large rock, brooding, wings
folded behind her back.

[notes section]
Well, actually, I suppose by it's own this intro is kinda pointless,
since it reveals *very* little of the plot and what's going to
happen, and the writing style of the actual fic will probably
resemble this very little. What it hopefully does, however, is
revealing to those interested that I *am* indeed writing a Tekken
fic.
This series will not be *too* deep in plot, and very light in the
emotions-department (not that I don't like deeply emotional fics, I'm
just not good at writing that sort of thing). Also, there's likely to
be hordes of fights - Tekken is a fighting-game, after all.
The sun has caused my brain to slowly trickle out through my ears,
but unless the heat goes up even further or my monthly manga-shipment
arrives earlier than expected, I'll probably be able to complete the
first chapter by this weekend (week 27), and my plan is to put out
one chapter each week.
The fic will mainly be based on the characters of Tekken II, though
it's likely I'll throw in some elements from what I've read about
Tekken III. My knowledge of Tekken isn't perfect, and also I don't
mind changing stuff when it suits me, so don't expect all details to
be perfect.
Of course, any C&C is appreciated, and yes, that include negative
responses, as long as they're more explicit than "it suxx".
I am especially thankful for any help correcting my spelling and
fixing grammatical errors - I'm not a native english speaker and
that's really the only way for me to improve.
