Didn't they extend the light rail that distance yet?

The extension is supposed to go all the way to Hunt Valley Mall (across
the road from the Marriott), and it's supposed to be operating by
mid-July if I remember right. That *should* be in time for Otakon, if they
hold to the schedule I was told when I called MTA and asked.

There's also going to be a light rail extension to BWI, but if that's open
on time then it's going to be about a week before the convention - and
that's cutting it too close to rely on. Even then, there's no guarantee
that you'll be able to get on the light rail at BWI and ride it all the
way to Hunt Valley Mall . . . so I don't suggest planning to do that until
the system is somewhat more stable.

I *have* asked the Otakon organizers whether there'll be shuttle service
between the Hunt Valley light rail stop and the hotel; they're looking
into it.
