Um, why, exactly, would tenchi EVER hook up with the royal b$itch?? Look,
I'm a tenchi otaku, even more so than Ranma, and I can say having seen
every tenchi ever made multiple times (including the new shin tenchi) that
there really isn't any relationship between tenchi and Aeka beyond
friendship. In every tenchiverse, Aeka and tenchi have one quite moment,
which Aeka uses as justification for chasing tenhci throughout the series,
but she never shows any deeper emotion toward him beyond posessivness.
Howeve,r in every series, Ryoko starts out distant, and gets closer and
closer...

Most tenchi otaku argue that the only real compitition that Ryoko has for
tenchi is Sasami (believe it or not, I don't).
