Greetings and salutations people! I've been lurking around for a
few days and decided now would be as good a time as any to participate in
the ML. Here is my submission for the second one hour writing drill. I
chose to do a fight scene, rather than a love scene. Let me know how you
like it! If I decide I like this I might even add it as a future

Well, you asked for it......

As far as a fight scene goes, it was just a rehashing of most
or all of the techniques that Cologne has taught either
Ryouga or Ranma.  There was little description
of the fight itself, save the initial "grabbing of the bokken
and breaking it" scene.  It might have been a more
interesting fight had Kunou actually beaten Ranma using
his kendo skills and not just flashy techniques.  It's kind
of sad how Kunou always gets beaten by an unarmed
man, but at the same time, it shows how good our hero is.

Also, I'm not sure if Ranma would not have noticed Kunou
training with Cologne earlier in the week.  Assuming that
Nabiki always bets against Ranma in the hopes of making a buck,
she'd be concerned that he had disappeared (because
look how long it took the Ranma and Ryouga to learn
the techniques, I wouldn't imagine that Kunou is a quicker
learner than either of them) and she'd send Ranma out
looking for him (against his better judgement, probably).

Finally, what motive would Cologne have in having Kunou
defeat Ranma?  She's on Shampoo's side, and if anyone
defeats Ranma, he is Shampoo's new airen (or at least
that't how I interpret it).  Cologne knows that as long as 
Ranma has the "Moko Takabisha", the "Hiryu Shoten Ha"
and the "Kenshin Tachin Amiguriken" he is nigh-
unbeatable.  She wouldn't want to teach that to anyone!
