Hello, this is SMoonUsagi, one half of the writing team behind Ranma 1/2
Naisen, here to tell you a little bit about the series and how it got
started!

I blame everything on Robert Morrison.  B-san sent me some Ranma images and I
fell in love with Ranma-kun at first sight.  Then a mutual friend (K-kitty)
bought me the first VIZ dub for Valentine's day 1996 and it was all DOWNhill
from there.  (I spent my tax return on Ranma tapes...over $300 worth of 'em
at a pop.  ::blush::)  We were somewhere in the middle of the Anything-Goes
series when ideas for fanfics started getting kicked around the house.  Once
RyougaLost found the word processor, there was no holding us back.

A word about the term "Naisen":  We wanted to stick with a defining term for
the series, and "naisen" in Japanese has two meanings--wrestling with
emotional issues ("nai"="inside"; "sen"="struggle") and the extension that
you would build onto a house.  Since our fanfics were a "built-on-extension"
of the original work of Rumiko-san, and since a lot of the stories involve
soul-searching and self-discovery, it was a perfect name for the series as a
whole.  /*^.^*\

There are ten stories planned and we're currently working on installment 7,
"Forever, Darling Ranma", where Kodachi comes breezing in to stir up trouble.
 The order of Naisen installments is as follows:

Episode 1:   The Importance of Being Ranma
Episode 2:   P-chan, Come Home!
Episode 3:   The Pursuit of Ranma
Episode 4:   La Femme Neko
Episode 5:   I'm Gonna Wash That Ranma Outta My Hair
Episode 6:   Getting Even with Genma
Episode 7:   Forever, Darling Ranma (in progress)
Episode 8:   Hoodwinking the Mousse (coming soon)
Episode 9:   For The Love of Neko (coming soon)
Episode 10: Enter The Fu Dog (coming soon)

Will we write more fanfic after "Fu Dog"?  Sure!  In the Naisen universe?
 Who knows?  It depends on what stories are to be told (if any) after the
final chapter closes.  Stay tuned!
