How would Ranma's personality be different if he had been more
interested in
school after getting to Jr. High level?

What would he take at college?   (ie. what does he have at least a minor
interest in in the manga/anime?
(need for fic.)

	My guess is that Ranma would've never reached college. From what I've
read and heard, passing Japanese University entrance exams is akin to
hell, and Ranma was never the nose-in-books type. Martial arts have
always been his life, and I doubt he would part ways with them to
dedicate himself to studying after his high school graduation. Plus,
there's always the "heir to school of anything-goes martial arts"
factor- Soun and Genma wish to see their families united, and would
probably prefer to rush a wedding with Akane and have Ranma to take
control of the Dojo instead of sending him to college (Where would they
get the funds, anyways? Genma is a deadbeat dad who rarely works.)
	But then again, Ranma always had a good fighting spirit and might get
into college if he really wanted to; there's always the possibility he
might take Physical Education teaching courses in college or something
related to martial arts. 
	So, basically, I don't know.
