Huh?  For the entirty of Crisis it seemed that anyone Priss did pull a gun
on, or punch or spit at was (with the exception of Leon) a Boomer.   Even if
in disguise...  I can see her getting upset with any boomer or "boomeroid"
that acted as anything other than a menial role.  

The ONLY times I saw her attacking a boomer in Crisis or Crash was when she
was out KS-ing, or if the boomer was attacking her (or someone else). She
never did it without some kind of provocation.

Yet people write fics where she sees some mechanical
man/boomer/cyborg/android, etc walking down the street, behaving as
programmed, not doing a thing to bother her or anyone else, and she goes off
the deep end about it (in the Nuku/BGC fic, Dr Raven and Mackie are having a
perfectly nice, calm, polite, controlled conversation with Nuku, who isn't
doing anything to anybody, yet when Priss finds out she's an android she
goes for her gun).  Folks, I *really* don't think Priss is that nuts.

Boomers are everywhere in MegaTokyo, and I'm not talking about the
"malfunctioning" test cases that Genom puts on the streets.  Look at Crash:
bank guard boomers, waitress boomers, ADP boomers, garbage collection
boomers... and if they appear in Crash, you know they were there a year
earlier in Crisis.  That's one of the reasons Sylia gives for NOT bringing
Genom down -- their products are too pervasive. Get rid of boomers, and
people can't live anymore: they are too dependent on them - they make life
easier for the citizenry. (except when Genom is running a "field test")

For Priss to be "in character" in the type of fics I'm talking about, she'd
have to be firing her gun constantly, because she can't go anywhere in MT
without coming across a boomer.  If she did that, I'd have to question her
stability (would Sylia have her in the KS for being so irrational?), and I
think the N-Police would have her locked up for being a public safety hazard
and for destroying private property.

Just my opinion....
