'Silence..... Cherry blossoms? Beautiful.....'
Light rippled as the scene changes.
'No... not cherry blossoms..... Blood? Strange bodies.... The
world..... Dead?'
Dark shadows appear, soundless, and red eyes turn towards her.
'My friends..... Dead..... What is happening? What is this?! No.....'
New figures appear. One, a boy facing himself, a sword in his hands.
Another, a girl faces a tall man in robes. Suddenly they shatter like
glass. New images appear. A boy in white robes appears facing a dark
shadow of a man. The same girl as before appears facing a different man,
all in black. They too shatter.
'Who are they? Why.... why are they shattering? Is...is something going
to happen?'
A tall familiar figure appears, light blue hair tied into two hanging
pigtails, robes blowing. She turns.
'Tsunami?! Me.... The future..... What is this?'
Tsunami shatters into a thousand pieces, ravens fly straight at her.
'Help me.... Help me..... HELP! AHHHHHH!!'
Sasami jerked up, fully awake. She glanced over at her older sister
sleeping soundly and crept outside to look up at the stars. A furry
object cuddled up to her. She picked it up and scratched its head.
"Oh, Ryo-oki, what's going to happen now?"

*NOTE: This is an adaptation of several stories, having nothing to do
with the original endings, or story flows. Being an alternate universe,
the characters should be mostly the same, but alterations my occur due
to the difference in my train of thought and that of the original

copyrights and all of that. Being a crossover story, expect to see odd
and rather bizarre things occur, but I won't give it away. Have fun, and

Tenchi turned and watched as the brown and white cabbit raced by him, a
pilfered carrot in her mouth. He laughed and bent to grab another....
and dodged just in time to avoid the down swipe of his grandfather's
practice blade.
"Grandpa! Not now, I've got to finish with the garden first!"
"Tenchi, you always have to be on guard for sudden attacks." His
grandfather sternly said, straightening his glasses. "If your experience
with Kagato has taught you nothing, I will give up on you here and now."
"Yes Grandpa." The teen sighed. He set his basket down and turned to
face his grandfather. 'It's too early for this.' He thought miserably,
picking up the second practice sword Yusho had brought with him. But
suddenly a small form slammed into him. "Huh?!? Sasami?! What's wrong?"
He knelt down by the little girl and tipped her face up. Yusho walked
over and listened.
"I... I had a really bad dream last night Tenchi! It was really, really
weird!" She buried her head in his chest. "There were these strange
people, and they shattered like glass, and I saw myself, as Tsunami! And
then I shattered and all of these black birds attacked me... And
then...."
"Sasami!" A lavender haired girl walked quickly up and bowed slightly
to Tenchi. "I'm so sorry she bothered you while you were practicing,
Lord Tenchi."
"Oh, it's quite all right, Miss Ayeka, she's no bother. Now, Sasami,
what was this dream like again? And slow down."
"Tenchi, it was just like the one I had.... I had when Kagato showed
up." The silence that greeted this was oppressive enough to make Ryo-oki
whimper.
"I think," said Yusho setting his sword aside. " that we had better go
talk to Miss Washu right now, don't you Tenchi. Tenchi?" He turned
around and saw the group already half way back to the house. He smiled
and picked up the swords again, and headed back to the shrine.
"Hummmm? Just like when ol' Kagato showed up huh? Well, since you were
right the first time, we can only assume that you are on to something
here too." Washu leaned back in her floating chair and watched one of
the strange creatures, housed in the clear containers running throughout
her lab, move slowly by. "As a matter of fact, " she said, looking at
the group and frowning at a bored looking Ryoko. "I picked up some very
odd readings in my Space Time Converter while I was scanning for the
possibility of mixing or crossing not only time, but dimensions as well.
Perhaps this anomaly has something to do with your dream, Sasami."
"Yeah, what ever. I think the kid had too many crackers before going to
bed." Humphed Ryoko. "It's all just a bunch of crap she's using to get
attention. Now can I go back to my nap?"
"Of course you may, Ryoko." Ayeka smiled at her. "I don't see any need
for you to be around anyway. Lord Tenchi and I can handle this just
fine."
"Oh no you don't!" Snapped Ryoko sitting up and glaring at her. "I'm
not leaving you alone here with Tenchi! And who says that I'm not needed
here?! Huh?!" Lightning flashed between the two as they glared at each
other. Washu sighed and turned back to her computer.
"I think my experiments might just be what we need to find out just
what is going on. Let’s get started." She started to type.
A dark form rustled the bushed near the Masaki house. Ryo-oki began to
hiss as a shadow loomed up over her. She backed up, and then turned and
ran. The form looked at the house and began to laugh. "Very soon, we
will all be free of that cursed Rift! And then this reality will be no
more!" It slipped away, deeper into the trees.
"I'm not wearing that."
"Oh, but Eagle, it would look so neat on you!" Cried Zeo, poking his
head around Geo's leg.
"I'm not wearing it." The young man stated firmly again and pushed the
Cephironian garb away. "There's nothing wrong with the outfit I have on
now. It's not like I really need to impress anyone around here, and this
isn't like back home. Lantis! Help me here!"
The tall man in black turned and smiled at his friend. "Oh, but I have
yet to see you in my native clothing."
"Traitor!" Yelped the pale blond man, backing away from his lieutenant
and engineer. He bumped into the wall and reached desperately for the
door handle. "I'm not wearing that! Geo, get away! Look, I just woke up,
I don't need to start dressing up the minute I go out! Lantis, make him
stop!"
"You're whining, Eagle." Drawled the strongest magic swordsman in all
of Cephiro.
"Well?!" Shouted Eagle dodging from the taller man. "I've been asleep
for nearly half a year! What do you expect?! I'm not wearing it! Geo,
stop, that's an order!" The tall man halted and frowned.
"But Eagle, it's not only the polite thing, but the proper thing to
wear it. You've been sleeping in their palace this whole time and it
wouldn't hurt to show some gratitude."
"Look, I'll thank Ferio when I see him next, okay? I'm not wearing it,
and that's final!" With that, Eagle started out the door. Suddenly he
gasped in shock, followed by Lantis. He doubled over and fell to the
floor. Lantis staggered over to him and grabbed his shoulder.
"What...?!" Eagle gasped.
"Something bad is going to happen, I can feel it." Stated Lantis
solemnly.
"Too late! It already has!" Gasped Ferio as he staggered into the room.
"Something is attacking us!"
Lantis supported Eagle as he doubled over again. "What? Why is Eagle
reacting like this?!"
"It may be because he is now linked to Cephiro."
"Celf!" The men turned around to face the small guru.
"Eagle Vision has been healed by Cephiro, and saved by its Hashiru, so
it is most likely that he is now more solidly connected to this world
than to his own. This... thing that is attacking is not effecting anyone
in particular. What it seems to be doing is effecting our very
existence, the reality of our being so to say. I only hope we can hold
what ever it is back long enough for Hikiru to realize what is
happening. Even though the Hashiru system is gone, she will always be
linked to this world. What ever else happens, we need her Will to keep
our world safe."
The group staggered out of the castle room to the balcony and looked
over the land. Eagle gagged slightly and coughed roughly. The world was
shaking. The sky seemed to be opening in places, leaving jagged black
voids like open wounds. The ground fluctuated under their feet and Celf
staggered.
"It's as if the world were tearing itself apart! What is happening?"
Cried Ferio, staring horrified at his home. Suddenly the ground under
their feet stilled, and they could straighten up again. Lantis looked
around mystified until he saw Eagle leaning on the balcony railing, his
eyes shut in concentration.
"Eagle..." he whispered.
"My Will was the strongest to that of Hikiru's." He panted. "I... I
think I can hold this place together... for now."
"You mustn't strain yourself so soon after waking." Observed Celf,
lifting his staff. It glowed and a bright dome closed over the palace.
"This shield will help us for only so long. We have to find a way to
reach the Hashiru and tell her what is happening."
"But we can't open a gate to their world. Only the Magic Knights can do
that." Moaned Zeo, still hanging onto Geo's leg.
"Then pray she feels this world's pain and comes to us." Celf said, his
voice dead serious.
"I don't think this is working, Miss Washu." commented Tenchi, looking
over her shoulder.
"Aw Tenchi, have some faith in me." Washu said, her eyes covered by the
visor of her Space Time Converter. "You see, by crossing the
dimensional field with that of the time stream, I can pretty much
effect any space or time I want. It gives me a way to look into what our
world would look like if, say you didn't defeat Kagato for instance. It
gives me endless possibilities!"
"Uhhh, Miss Washu, are you sure it's safe to do that?"
"Why Tenchi, are you afraid? Don't worry, nothing can possibly go wrong
from here!"
Hikiru snapped up, her scream still loud in her ears. What kind of
dream was that?! She sighed and rubbed her eyes. She'd never had such
nightmares in all her life. Just then her door slammed open and her
three bleary eyed brothers pilled in, each concerned for their little
sister.
"Hikiru, are you all right?" Asked Satoru, kneeling by her and taking
her shoulder.
"Hikiru-chan, it's the middle of the night." Complained Masaru, yawning
and stretching.
"I'm sorry." She whispered. "I just had a really bad dream that's all.
I'm sorry that I woke all of you up like this."
"It's okay, as long as you're all right." said Kakeru, standing back up
and heading for the door. Masaru followed him out waving his little
sister a good night.
"Hikiru-chan, are you sure you're all right? You don't have bad dreams
very often. I'm worried about you."
She smiled up at her oldest brother and nodded. "I'm fine. Really.
But... tomorrow will you drop me by the Tokyo Tower on your way to
work?"
He blinked in confusion. "Drop you by...? You want to walk with me to
the Tower? But you usually go by yourself."
"I...I know," she stammered. "But... I'd rather just walk with you
tomorrow."
"All right," he said and left, sliding her door shut softly. "Sleep
well, Hikiru."

The next morning
***************
"Oni-san! Come on! You're gonna be late for work if you don't hurry
up!"
"Why dose she do that?" Moaned Masaru, looking at his brother. Satoru
ran by then, grabbing a piece of toast.
"Later."
"Even after waking us up at two in the morning, she's up with the sun.
She's crazy." Kakeru picked up a piece of toast, and began to put some
jelly on it. "But somehow, I feel like something is going to happen
today. It's kinda like a storm that's just waiting to break. I hope
Hikiru will be okay."

Tokyo Tower
***********
Hikiru stood by the observation telescope where she had first seen her
two best friends, Umi and Fuu. What ever had woken her up last night,
was not leaving her alone now. Her heart hurt. Badly. She thought of her
friends in Cephiro. She smiled when she thought of Lantis and Eagle
Vision. She really missed them. She looked out and sighed.
"I just wish I knew what was happening in their world right now."
A sudden explosion of light blinded her, and when she opened her eyes
again, she was floating in a void of nothing. She looked around, and
called out. Suddenly a voice called back, too familiar for her to have
forgotten.
'HASHIRU.'
"Mokona? No.... You're the Creator, aren't you? What is happening?"
'HASHIRU, MY WORLD NEEDS YOU AGAIN. HASHIRU, YOUR HEART IS STILL THE
HEART OF MY WORLD."
"What do you mean? Where are Fuu and Umi? Why did you just call me?"
'HASHIRU, I DID NOT CALL YOU, CEPHIRO HAS CALLED TO YOU. IT NEEDS YOU
ONCE MORE. YOU ARE THE HASHIRU, AND ONLY YOU CAN HELP. GO, AND DO WHAT
YOU MUST.'
Hikiru gasped as Rayearth appeared before her, in wolf form. She looked
down at herself and saw she was once more in her fourth level armor.
"Rayearth, what is happening? Are Lantis and Eagle in trouble?"
"My Knight, we must hurry. Cephiro is being torn apart. Have you not
felt it, screaming to you?"
She gasped and put her hand over her heart. "That... that was what was
in my dream. That must be why my heart is so sad and heavy. Let's go
now! I want to help them!" She leapt up and into the great creature,
melding with it to become the true form of Rayearth. She vanished from
sight.
