We do owe something to someone. We owe people such as Rumiko Takahashi
and Kosuke Fujishima our gratitude and our thanks for their creativity and
originality, for providing us with delightful and fascinating characters
and settings and stories.
I will mention that they aren't your characters, either. If the
creators of a series have problems with something a fanfic author has
done, then let them speak for themselves.
Not a good idea. With the exception of OF, all the stories here use
copyrighted characters without permission. As long as the companies that
own the rights don't have fanfiction shoved in their faces, they can
maintain the polite fiction that they don't know about such things as RAAC
and the various mailing lists.
