Killfies should *only* be used at the last resort, otherwise your mind
ends up just as closed as the person you want to enlighten.  And I
don't believe *anyone* should be kill-filed for fanfics.

To my knowledge, Mr. Lawson is pretty much alone as far as ficwriters go in
my killfile. It takes a lot to get to the point where I will no longer even
try to read a person's fics. Mr. Lawson is the only one whose fics have
offended me so consistently as to cause me to write him off altogether.

I don't worry about being in people's killfiles, because I write for my own
enjoyment and occasional profit, when and as I like, for my own
satisfaction. I'm pretty sure there are a few people who delete my fics on
sight due to UF, BGPink, or just my loudmouth attitude. That's their right,
and I really don't mind. 

I don't like Nathaniel Hawthorne, either, and people tell me he's one of the
greatest American writers ever. If Hawthorne were alive and on the web,
though, he'd be in my killfile too.
