Perhaps given the current discussions, this is a good time to respond to
your letter.

I grant you that there is no evidence of Nabiki having this kind of
experience. However, the question I would put to is this: can you see as
a possible interpretation of Nabiki's character? Can you see in my Nabiki
the Nabiki of the manga? I hope so.

As to Ranma being able to resist Nabiki because of Akane: perhaps. This
is certainly possible. All I can say is I've been near a very similar
situation, which worked out badly. More I will not tell, only to say that
the situation I forecast is eminently possible.

Thank you for your comments.

Always your,
   Nabiki Tendo

Thank you so much for your commentary.

My Nabiki in this story is not very much like her sister.

Nabiki is very rarely like her sisters, however she is normally loyal to
them.

Akane will be adjusting to sex for months to come yet,

Really? I thought adjusting to sex took much less time than that... but
I will pay that becoming good at it can take *YEARS*.

while the
already-experienced Nabiki will use those months to make Ranma
dependant on her for satiating his lusts.

Hmmm... this raises 2 key points I feel.

1 - Exactly how and who with did Nabiki gain the experience she is
sharing with Ranma? There is no indication in the anime or manga that
Nabiki is anymore sexually experienced than Akane - less naive perhaps,
but no more experienced. And Naivety wears off really quickly with
exposure to the real thing.

2 - What makes you think that Ranma's lusts are so intense that he will
need more than Akane? This is the Ranma that backs away from Shampoo
when she throws herself at him.

In short, Nabiki is more creative and less inhibited than Akane, which
will
keep Ranma coming back for more.

The first part of this I agree with, but I fail to see that the second
part automatically follows from it. I agree that it *COULD*, but it
would
represent a dramatic change in Ranma's behaviour, one that Nabiki would
have to be incredibly arrogant to count upon.

That is the premise, anyway. Mind you, I don't think this is a
mainstream
view of Nabiki. I simply explored an extreme of her character in a
sexual
context.

And it was an interesting view of Nabiki. However as you may have
noticed I disagree with it - mainly because in it Nabiki seems to act
without calculating the odds of success, and in my world-view Nabiki does

not take such un-necessary risks unless she has much better reason than
is shown to think that the outcome is a sure thing.

And I also have trouble with Nabiki deliberately and in a pre-meditated
fashion acting to hurt a member of her own family.

Always your,
   Nabiki Tendo

I hope you found my arguments worthy of your time.
