	Grettings to those in TV land! First I'm afraid you'll have to define
"garbage" as it pertains to fanfiction. The only garbage I've ever seen
was poorly written, unemotional, and lifeless fics. Touching, and or
topical subject matter didn't save them. 

	The "Gross Out" challenge... who gave it that name anyway? Nevermind,
the challenge is to take reality, and spin it on it's head, causing the
reader to double take as their perceptions are twisted out of shape by
the unexpected. Yes, we could all just toss out our most disgusting
ideas and expect people to hurl, but that WASN'T the challenge. It was a
test of the writers skill to lull readers into a false sense of security
(or trap them into a cage of paranoia) and then give the whole story a
good yank, spilling readers into a tumble of fractured ideas and
insanity.

	Can YOU do that? It's not easy, even my most successful attempt
("Mousse's Fun with Fellatio") left much to be desired. Oh and by the
way, these stories do NOT have to be Lemons! Dark fics (Paint it Black)
or Original flavor fics (Good Things Come) can actually be MORE
effective as it leaves so much for the reader to conclude on their own.

	As a final note, I ask you, do you know of a writer called Kun-chan?
Her Lemons are beyond reproach because they are written well. Nevermind
that they have... SEX in them, she has the respect of the fanfic
communtity, because she is a terrific writer.

	Now then, what was that about Garbage? 

	Note that this in no way constitutes a flame, I respect and cherish all
yous guys and wouldn't ever try to make you feel less then the
incredible people you are. I just wanted to clear up what this whole
thing was REALLY about. And to make a statement about what Garbage is.
To find REAL garbage, look at the fics Fcasper is reveiwing... THOSE are
garbage ;)
