Gross out challenge
Um.... guys i've seen some of the stuff thats being put out and i gottta
say take it *real *easy with this.
Garbage written as fanfiction is still Garbage. You risk having your
other fics autodeleted by people who *will* remember this....challenge.
I'd not risk it.
I have to both agree and disagree with you here.
I don't think it is too likely that an author is going to become
boycotted for entering this little competition _AS LONG AS_ cha;;engers
continue to label "Lemon Grossout Challenge" or "Grossout Cha;;enge" if
there is no lemon content. Even a newbie should realize that the term
"gross our challenge" implies that this is not the norm. I think the
thing is an amusing way to blow off steam and parody anything and
everything. As always, there is a chance that it may be taken the wrong
way, but I think that if one reads the header and then goes ahead and
reads the content anyway, getting upset about it would be rather like
entering an Andrew Dice Clay show and then being offended by what you
are assailed with therein.
Again I agree, we should be careful with this, but we should be and are
careful with lemons and limes on this group, As long as it is still
fanfiction and people are having fun and taking the neccesary
precautions I see no problem.
I doubt if this little challenge will last too long, Bulwer-Lytton
openings are as fun and take less effort so they keep going. This is
something new and different so it'll flail about for a bit and then
probably wander back into the forest possibly with an occasional
sighting or two. ^_^

PS Remember folks, the Lemon part of the challenge is optional. I still
think that "All Good Things..." is one of the tops so far, and there is
not a citrus in sight in that one. Be creativem have fun, and always use
a label. ^_~
