Sure, but I meant that the reference would have been better if it
was more subtle, i.e. if you kept calling him "the Zen Monk",
leaving it to the reader to figure it out.

I told him, he should have made the Zen Monk short, with a face like a 
potato, with a bowl hat. ;> But did he listen? Oh, no, no one ever listen 
to poor... erm. Well.
