Mike, you have to write a sequel to the sequel. This is just too good a
setup. Will we hear the patter of tiny feet in the Tendo household (other
than Happosai)? Can even Kasumi handle the stress of living with step-mom
Kodachi? Does Ranma realize yet that marrying Akane will make Kodachi his
mother-in-law? Does Akane realize yet that Kuno is now her uncle? Does
Kuno realize that Akane is now his niece?

Hmm. Does raise a bunch of interesting questions. On a sequel.... dunno, I
might do it one of these days. A more likely answer is a series of
sidestories - I've already had a few requests for permission by people
wishing to write in this continuity.

"Sorry, I have no choice. The priest will be here in a few
seconds, and I'm afraid..." she paused to rummage around hin
Katsunishiki's saddlebags, withdrawing a pump action shotgun
"...I'm afraid I can and will make you. We'll have to hurry,
though. I think the police might know where I am."

Shampoo stared at the 12-gauge in disbelief. "Police?"

"Yeah. See, I just broke out of prison..."

And suddenly the door was filled with people in uniforms,
carrying guns. "FREEZE, UNRYUU!"

Akari dived behind the bed and fired the shotgun wildly over it.
"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE, COPPERS! YAAAAAAAAA!"

Shampoo just sank lower in the bed, pulled the covers up, and
wished she was somewhere else.

Akari and Shampoo as Thelma and Louise? Or perhaps we'll see four yong
women using new hardsuit technologies become mercenaries battling giant
martial artist pigs ravaging and rampaging through Tokyo?

Sounds like a job for the AD Pol... um, I mean, Animal Control.

Hi Sean! ;)

Ukyo thought about this for a second.

The more she thought, the more it made sense.

Ranma was a nice guy, and she knew he'd be a great husband.

But he wasn't the only one.

Maybe she'd marry Ranma. Maybe Akane would. Or maybe
someone they hadn't even met yet would.

She smiled, and for the first time in years honestly didn't care
which happened.

Mike, how did a reasonable thought by any non-Nabiki character slip into
your story?

Must be a typo.

Seriously, I'm tired of seeing either "Ukyo-pines-away-after-Ranma-marries
-Akane", "Ukyo-marries-Ryoga", or "Ukyo-is-in-a-Zenfic-and-marries-Ranma".
While she's not one of my favorite characters in the series, I do think
that assuming automatically that she can't live without a
husband/boyfriend is selling her short.

Coffee by Mad Doug's Java Hole
There probably won't be a sequel. Probably.
  Say it ain't so, Mike.

  Where's Mad Doug's Java Hole?

By the Uni.
