Consider something important about Tendou Soun.

Soun is, by essence, a coward.

True....

Considering that, take into account:

1. Ryouga could crush bone by squeezing it.
2. Akane can crush anything if she's pissed off enough.
3. Ryouga's curse would definitely piss Akane off, and she'd be as 
likely to kill the messenger as she would the perpetrator.
4. Ryouga is, as far as most of the Nerima denizens are concerned, 
fairly unstable when it comes to revenge matters. 

Considering the possibility of having every bone in his body reduced 
to powder by Ryouga and/or Akane if he talked about it, it's pretty 
understandable that Soun would clam up.

Which is very unlikely. Ryouga wouldn't want to scare off his prospective
father-to-be if he was to have a chance, and Akane wouldn't do that to her
own father. Shout at him, maybe. Beat him? There's at least a
0.000000000000001% chance of that happening. It's more likely that 1) Akane
wouldn't believe him  2) Ryouga will just blame it on Ranma  and 3) Soun
believes in allowing everything to work out on its own and therefore his
inaction.
