Thank you for clarifying that for me.
It does, indeed, sound like something that would not interest me. It seems
to me that only those authors who are participating in its creation could
find it worthwhile.
It is entirely possible that I am mistaken. I don't think I'll try and
find out whether that is so.
Always your,

Thank you for your recommendations. An intriguing list.
What is a "revenge war"?
You just opened a BIIIG kettle of spam.
I'm not going to go into the history and origin of the Revenge Wars,
since it would fill many e-mails this size. Suffice it to say that the
Revenge War is a multi-author project, started by me.
It is, unfortunately, everything you hate. It is both a crossover (of
massive proportions) and an insertion fic. It takes a large number of
authors from the FFML, grabs characters from more anime and manga series
than I can count, and puts them together on their very own planet, gives
them some neato technology, then pits them against an enemy that
includes the cream of evil from all anime and says.
"Here. Now survive."
It also deals with such important social issues such as "Advanced
Dragonism", "Humanform Robots in today's society", "Jusenkyo related
gender issues" and "What happens when a 20,000 year old scientist
becomes a vampire?".
Seriously, this is a major effort by a lot of serious talent, which is
why Webdragon recommended it (He's in on it, by the way ;) It's also WAY
more fun to work on than it has any right to be. If you ever DO change
your mind, more Revenge Wars stuff should be appearing on the FFML soon.
