The simplest solution ot these problems is to make Ranma and Tenchi
related via Tenchi's father.  E.G. make Genma and Tenchi's Father first
cousins.  Note that this would explain sone of the for strange things
about Tenchi's Father.

In the story this is referring to, Ranma and Tenchi ARE related through
their fathers.  Genma and Nobuyuki are brothers.

Sadly, that would *still* make Ranma at least fractionally Juraian, as
Nobuyuki (and logically, his brother) is supposed to be a descendent
(though not direct) of Youshou's as well.

If they DO throw Nodoka into the Jurai mix... <<shudder>>
