I'm sending this again since the list seems back up.

Subject: [Help Needed]


	Folks, I'm sending this letter to the list as well as to the
friends who've helped me so much over the past two years. Sending it isn't
easy. But after talking with WhiteWolf, I feel it's neccessary.

	I've been doing my series for some time now, and working on a
side story for Twister's Twisted Path series for about 8 months. Now, I'm
afraid I'm going to have to lay all of that aside.

	Last Tuesday, June 3, my mother was diagnosed with malignant liver
cancer. It had already spread to her pancreas. The doctors are going to
try, but they tell me it's hopeless.

	She needs me, folks. And I need her.  I'm going to be giving ever
second I can spare to her. That means no more writing for the foreseeable
future. 

	So, with WhiteWolf's gracious permission, I'm going to be posting
the final version of Tangled Skeins to the list in one single post.
WARNING, it is over 294 kilobytes long, those of you who have per-letter
size limits won't get it. I won't have the time to individually chop it up
and mail it in pieces, so perhaps some kind soul would be willing to do
that? Or perhaps someone can put it somewhere (an archive?) where the
web-based mail customers can get to it, if they wish to read it. after
that, if the consensous is that it's a good story, I'm going to post it to
RAAC.

	Zoner? I'm sending you a copy of this because I want you to know
just how much you, Gryphon, Hammer, and Doc Mui have given me. You and
Gryph were my inspiration to start writing, and the help and advice
Gryphon, Hammer, and Doc gave me on my first miserable little fic were
invalueable. I've misplaced the addresses of the rest of the Eyrie group,
so, if it's not too much of an imposition, I'd like to humbly beg of you
to pass this letter, and my gratitude on to the rest of them.

	I'd like to ask one final favor. Mike? Fcasper? Dread Pirate
Basilue? All of you who do fanfic MST3K type reviews? Would you please do
mine? At this point in my life, I need.. no, I desperately need a reason
to laugh. Any reason. There isn't much left here for me, and if I give in
to the depression, I'm not going to make it.

	I guess that's about it. My next post will be the story itself.
And it's very likely that will be all I have left to say.

	Thank you all for giving me the good times and the good stories.
They've carried me through a great many times of frustration and doubt.
Thank you for the help you've all given to me over the past years.
