I've only seen the two crow movies, not read the comics, so I'm probably
walking on thin ice. Oh, well, who wants to live forever?

This captures the flavor of at least the movie version of the Crow
pretty well. I would suggest the following additions to the imagery to
make it closer: 1) lots of tight, confined spaces 2) light appearing
only in bright, strobelike flashes 3) dark colors, esp. black and brown
4) creaking black leather outfits 5) loud electric guitar sounds
Plus you need to find a way to fuse the Crow style images with Nerima,
or else transplant a few Ranma 1/2 characters to an American city,
probably one with a Little Japan type community. You could use any large
city in California, or something in Western Canada. Visual inspiration
for the fusion of Western and Japanese might be found in the movie
_Blade Runner_ which does that very thing well.

Of course at this point we don't know who the dead guy in the Chinese
robes is. Maybe you've decided, maybe you haven't. Is it going to be one
of the Ranma characters, or is this version of the Crow going to MEET
the Ranma characters?

The punk gasped as the man's body suddenly
transformed into dozens of crows, each one seemingly laughing at him as
they disappeared into the stormy night.

Is this the strangest Jusenkyo curse of all time? Might even beat the
one Pantyhose has.
