The fundamental problem I have with this story is that it doesn't seem
 like a Ranma/Belgariad crossover.  It reads like the Belgariad with some
 Ranmaverse names thrown in.  I didn't feel any Ranma vibes in this chapter
 or the earlier ones.  

Yup.  At the moment that is the case, because frankly I wanted some slight
coralary.  In the next chapter hopefully I will get that to change.  Because
none of it is from the book.  I mean this is Ranma's youth right.  I
personally
don't know what Ranma's youth was like before the training trip do you?  But
I do know what happened to Garion.  Also people may not have noticed, but
I am not the man to go to for overt humor.  I think I have mentioned this in
the
footnotes somewhere earlier as well.  Sorry about that.  If you wan't
origonality
check the next chapter ok.  I wanted to get him away from the Farm and
Nodoka and I accomplished that didn't I.  So...
