Ryan Anderson came up with the following, which he asked me to forward to the
list. I think it might be "too much of a good thing"-- but you decide. BTW,
Keener, this is our way of trying to get you to write more. Finish your fics or
*we* will! BWHAHAHAHA!!!! (That, ah say, that's a joke, son.) -- GK

That was a nice uplifting story!

But what it needs is a real shock ending.

Like this one:

	Told you so.

Sorry, Keener. This was just my way of saying, "I'M @#$%#$ TIRED OF IT
ALWAYS BEING AKANE!!!"

Yeah, no kidding.. but how about a little more to that epilouge?Maybe
something like this:

-----

Ukyo slumped up against the wall, a small frown on her face. She should
have known better than to try to bring Akane into their coven.. she ust
wasn't strong enough to be their forth. Now what were they going to do?

Shampoo walked out of the darkness of the alley way, her entrance not
unexpected. "So, Spatuala-girl, now look what mess you make!"

"Oh drop the act shampoo, Ranma's dead, you don't need to pretend
anymore."

Shampoo sighed, shaking her head. "What are we going to do now Ukyo? You
promised us that you could bring Akane over quietly, and that finnally our
circle would be complete... but with this disaster... Cologne is not going
to be pleased."

Ukyo grimaced, thinking about facing the old hag again. "Screw cologne!
may the blody masters take her and torter her for eternity! She's the one
who started all this! If only she hadn't had that "grand vision" of hers
to make the greatest martial artist in the world our puppet, we could have
*owned* this place by now.... I mean really, If we had just been
concentrating more on opening the portal to allow the dark master into
this plane, who knows what gifts would be ours?"

"Hey! I agree with you alright? No need to dump on me! but that "old hag"
_is_ my great-grandmother, and one of the greatest dark sorcerers of this
age! If it wasn't for her, *you* would never have even been brought over!
you'd still be living on the streets, too afraid to go home because
your 6-year-old boyfriend dumped you! She found you and turned your anger
into power you could *use* and you have no thanks?" Shampoo felt the dark
aura of their thrid appraoch, and instantly felt the welcome darkness of
Kodachi soother her raging soul.

Kodachi stepped from the shadows, and both girls felt the feat of their
anger leave them, replaced only with the cold darknes that seemed to cloak
Kodachi like the night itself. "So,my sisters, it appears I was correct
after all... Akane could never be one of us. I told you from the begining
that her anger made her too unstable."

Ukyo shook her head. "I should have listend to you, ko-chan, I guess I
just didn't give you, the new initiate, enough credit. I should have seen
the signs! but I was blinded by the thoughts of what power it would bring
to have a forth... and one as powerful as akane to boot."

shampoo sighed, giving Ukyo a pat on the back. "Hey, mistakes happen.
Besides, it high time we got out of this silly little Japanese town
anyway. Ranma would have made a nice sacrifice, perhaphs we might have
even found a way to make him our forth, he was certainly powerful enough
for it... but ultimately, he wasn't worth all that trouble."

Now it was kodachi's turn to smile impishly. "Ah, Shampoo, is that a hint
of disappointment I hear in your voice? surely it can't be that you were
*actually* in love with him?"

Shampo turned a bright crimson. "Of-Of coruse not! I swore myself to the
darkness, same as you Ko-chan, and while the dark master may have choosen
you as his bride, The dark powers did rid me of those weak emotions, like
love."

"Well, reguardless of what we've gained and lost from all this, I, for
one, am at least exceedingly glad thatI don't haveg to be so damn cheery
all the time! I mean, I can see the use of becoming Ranchan's "friend",
and there by sliping past his guard, but wearing that ridiculus smile all
the time was sure getting on my nerves!" All the girls shared a giggle at
that, knowing how much the usually-dour Ukyo had had to be so bouncy and
cheerful, and how much she had hated it.

They all turned to leave hrought the shadow passage through which they had
come, but suddenly they all froze in their tracks feeling another presense
nearby, one whoose darkness was so great that even they were forced to
temble as it passed by. "Happosai..." whispered Ukyo....
