I hope she never reads this story, as it would horrify her or any
rational person for that matter.

	Gads, you've got that call right.... I hate to think of the repercussions
of this particular story line... What happens to Ataru is bad enough (not
that some don't think he deserves it...) But the aftereffects on Lum are
almost too nasty to think about...

	Just off hand, one possible solution would be for Ran-chan (or any of
Lum's other good friends) to time travel back to before your story line
occurred, creating a clone of Ataru to either replace the devoured Ataru
either before or after the mating occurred, i.e., it could have been
Ataru's clone who mated with Kurama... and perhaps seeing this, Ataru would
have decided Lum wasn't so bad, after all... (Nah!!! It'll take something
more drastic than this to get rid of the indestructible boy...  Of course,
maybe the clone idea explains how Ataru can absorb such incredible amounts
of damage, and keep on bouncing back for more... Lum's friends replace him
after he's been killed, because they know what effect it would have on Lum...)

	In the FUYS stories, I gave Kurama a different dilemma to worry about... I
just made her the proverbial "flying f*ck"... which usually ends in a
drastic and messy ending for the non-flying mate...   Of course, when she
does find someone worthy of mating with, she postpones the event, trying to
figure out a way to mate with him and yet keep him alive... (no
devices/external aid allowed).  And of course, in keeping with the
music/comedy aspect of most of Takahashi's UY titles, this sequence/episode
just had to be called "When I Fall in Love"...
