Nerima is smack in the middle of Tokyo. Don't you think the light polution

would block out the stars?

I live smack in the middle of the city, too (in Manila, one of the most
polluted cities in the world -- although I'm not very proud of that) -- but
on a clear night (in summer or in December), I see enough stars to make me
more than happy. (I'm a star junkie -- can't you tell). 

And this is when I'm on the ground.
