I'll pass the question on to the writer... but if I'm correct, between 
playing in a PBEM of mine and the rigours of the Cantina, he plain-old 
simply ran out of time.  ^_^

Had a reply from the author.  He had absolutely *Zilch* C&C for his last 
chapter, so shelved the project until he decided there was a call for it 
again.
