Wow! Two great short fic's in one day! Thanks. <grin>

I normally read only the fics that my mailer leets me see all at once, as I'm
going through the mail. And then I get to the larger stuff if I can, and
when I can. And the new synopsis list is really helping me decide which of
those that I will read. Thanks Mark, and all the authors who are making it
work by submitting their synopses to him. And usually when a new short fic
comes out, I can skim it quickly and dump it without comment, since it does
nothing for me.

Today seems a bit different.

I like the view of Madoka, especially since it does reveal some of why she is
SOO cold to Kyosuke at first. Having her concerned about a time paradox
explains something that the anime had never made very clear. Very good
innovation.

Another very good innovation is having Madoka be a student of Suon. The
timeline might be odd. (The manga and the movie both give rather definite
dates for Kyosuke's and Madoka's birth: 1968 for the manga, and 1972 in the
movie.. I think. I know they are different.) But I bring it up only to
discard it. Why let a nit picking detail like that get in the way of a good
idea! Go with it. It does make a lot of sense. And I like the way the
Suon's student is getting some training that seems reminescent of Cologne's
style. <grin> If not her ruthlessness to her students.

I would like to see any more of this timeline if you like. I can see lots of
interesting situations arising from the simple fact that Madoka is associated
with the Dojo. Not least is that it might bring Kyosuke to Nabiki's
attention. Very interesting, ne?

Again, a very good story, and I enojyed seeing explainations given for things
that were NEVER explained in the original. Thanks again.
