Hello all!

I'm getting ready to put several of my fanfics up on a web page, but 
am not quite sure how to handle it.... I've got them all HTML'd for 
people that want to view them that way, but what is the best format 
to store them in for people who simply want to download them and read 
them later, or catch up on chapters/etc. that they missed?

What format would be best to store them as? I'm running on an 
IBM-compatible PC, so I can save it as TXT or something like that, 
but would MAC users be able to read them? And what about compressing 
all the chapters of a 'fic into one lump so someone can DL the whole 
thing - which is better, PKZIP or GZip, or something else?


Sorry for the barrage of questions, but any help you can offer would 
be greatly appreciated.
