Err, what other uses do birth control pills have besides Birth Control?

They're often also used to regulate a menstrual cycle that might be
irregular or unstable. And some very pre-operative M2F transsexuals take
them for their hormone content (though not as often now, as they don't quite
have the hormone content they once did). Actually, they're not usually
*prescribed* as such for that purpose, but I think you see what I mean.

They are also used to help some women deal with chronic pelvic problems (I
don't know the connection, I'm not an ObGYN person) and with hormonal
problems.  I remember a friend of mine saying her sister has to take or did
have to take them for the above reasons.  And she was in the age group
Amy/Ami is now when she started taking them.
