I've noticed in several Ranma fics that when Ranma or Akane was pregnant,
they either did not consider abortion or quickly rejected the idea.  What
are Japanese opinions and attitudes with regard to abortion?  How common is
abortion in Japan?  What are Shinto and (Japanese) Buddhist views on
abortion? 

  This is a serious inquiry for real information.  I do not care about
FFMLers personal views or stances on abortion or birth control.  Any
opinion piece response will be regarded as evil spam.
