Excuse my nervousness, though I've been lurking for months,  this is my
first actual post to the list.  I've been kicking this idea for some
time now, but just now had the courage to see what the list as a whole
thinks.

Well here it is, what if Ranma was the Third Child from Evangelion,  in
other words, if he went to Tokyo3 to train as an Eva pilot with Rei and
Shinji.  I know the timelines don't match, but ignoring such details,
what  would every one think.  I've only seen through episode 8 of NGE so
that would be the time frame in their timeline I would set it at.

Some of the ideas relating to the story I've thought of so far:

First, have Ryoga wander into Tokyo 3 a month or so ahead of Ranma's
arrival, and have already started a new life of his own,  for example,
have him save Rei during her accident instead of Gendo, and have a
relationship start between the two of them.  Also he will be employed by
NERV to give the pilots endurance training, not as a pilot.

Next, though overall the tome will be much more serious than the norm
for Ranma,  the mandatory Fiancee visits will occur, of course at the
worst possible times.

It will actually give us a chance to see who actually is the worst
father Gendo or Genma.

Since the Eva's are living creatures, couldn't the channel a Ki blast.
Imagine Eva-02 performing some of Ranma's moves.

And one final question, does it have to be water to activate Ranma's
curse?  What about THC,  and then again, is it warm, or cold.
