Ok gang, the FFML has been spurting, I have been working, and the
reviews have been slow. However, here I am with another installment.
Of course, this would be easier if I could con some people into working
for me, but everyone seems to remember what a harh taskmaster I was, and
they have all refused to come back. Bummer, huh? Anyway, on with the
show!
First in my little folder of reviews, Acceptance, by Horde O' Hentai
Productions. Good story in this one. I would class this one as a
realization fic, where characters are thinking things through. Of
course, that changes nothing about the story, as it is well written and,
I think, a must read. I think the way th author portrayed the ending
was excellent, and I won't say any more so you are forced to read it.
:)
Next on the list, X-change students by H. Torrance Griffin. While I am
not a Marvel fan, I know a small amount about the X-Men and Xavier and
all that. Of course, I stopped reading the series about 6 years ago, so
have no real idea about the newest generations. However, this story was
an interesting one. Of course, I have stayed up way to late to finish
reading the 3 parts I have, which means to me, this is a good one. I
can remember no grammatical errors or spelling errors, so that means
that they were very few or nonexistant. Watching the crew of Xavier's
deal with the Nerima wrecking crew is a good one. This is another one
that I wil be looking for.
Ok, that's it for tonight. It is real late and I hafta work tomorrow.
Just a note here, tho. If it seems that I have been giving good reviews
here for the most part, it's because I usually screen fics. I have a
FFML folder and a Reviews folder in Netscape, and I scren messages
before they get transferred into new folders. So that means stories get
screened twice before I review them. Usually, I will read the first
coupla paragraphs to see if I like it or can get through it. I always
know if a story is at least semi good if i can get through the first
coupla paragraphs. This does not mean that I don't review fics I do not
like, it means that a lot of them wind up getting dumped before fully
read, therefore not reviewed. If I have a reasonable request to review
a fic, I have decided to review it, seeing as I have adopted a new
approach to reviews. Other than that, Keep on Writing!
