Frankly I think we need more much and many more 
SELFINSERTION FICS. I mean doesn't everybody like 

Twister's 

story or Oh My God or Rhi an TI's Excellant Adventure.

I can't believe this.  You forgot Bubblegum Zone and 

Alternate History to

Bubblegum Zone, by Bert Van Vliet and Hitomi Ichinohei 

(Hope I got your name

right.)

But I agree, we need some good ole self infliction...I 

mean insertion fics.

Mainly so we can start doing revenges again.

  Thats as good a reason as any. Actually I don't 
understand the problem so many have with the type of 

story. 

if a story is funny or sad or scary then what differnece 
does it make if the author is a character?
 If  the story is entertaining then what else matters. I 

was 

an amateur proofreader for a fanzine once and I read 

some 

truly awful stories (far worse than ANY I have seen on 

the 

FFML) most of the authors quit because they couldn't 

accept 

C&C (comment and critisism), Those who didn't quit got 

better- a few even went on to 

become professionals. Isn't it one of the purposes of 

the 

FFML to help writers to write better stories? I know I 

had 

to publish an story for a class recently (the Prof. 
erased the finished versions and I had to get a version 

up on Raac in no more than two days. The "story" ( actually 
an outline plus about three pages of fill in ) was awful 
but  I got an a+ for it.When my system is repaired I plan 
to submit a new version for the FFML's C&C.
