        Not exactly... Galactus needs the help of this big ol' contraption
to "eat" a planet.  He couldn't even blow one up with an energy beam, unlike
the Z warriors.  Galactus is just a big hungry pansy... he was more
formidable as Elvis!  Yes, he became Elvis!  Look at the "What If" special ^_^

      Sorry to disagree with you but Galactus doesn't need a machine to
eat a planet
 The machines only allow Galactus to absorb the planets energy more
efficently. He
can still eat a planet without them only not get as much use of the
energy.
