I do not intend to stop.  However, I do intend to take into account
people's opinions, desires, etc., regarding splitting the list.

The only option I would really see as far as splitting the list would be
a "Fanfic Only" channel and then a channel for all of the "other stuff".

This simple split would enable people to get the fanfic if they want
them, and by subscribing to both lists, they would get the same
functionality of the current FFML.  It would also enable things like "I
am going on a weeks vacation and I want the fanfics, but 7 days of the
full FFML will overflow my mail."  (Personally, I am in luck. 
Ridgewolfe lives close enough to be able to come over and d-load mail
for me a few times while I am gone.)

To split the list into 4 or 5 parts would create unnecessary confusion
and would probably "guru" somebody's hardware somewhere.
