are Fics, C&C and SPAM? What about Idea threads? What about writer's

	Everyones saying why they joined this list. I joined to become a better
fic writer and help others do the same. When I'm trying out new ideas
and advertising to find the interest, I use idea posts and teasers. When
I'm working on the story and am looking for angles to improve it's
readablity and characterization, I use idea posts, question posts and
writer's posts. When I'm having a small breakdown from concentrating on
writing too many fics at once, I join in on a silly Vs or Worship Spam.
All of these help tremendously and only the LAST one doens't belong
here. 

	Take a recent thread I'm working on, Rusty Angels&Suicide Blasts. Had I
just posted the story, three of you guys who actually remember my name
and like my work would have read it. Forty of you guys who actually
remember my name and hate my work would have deleted it, and the rest
would have filed it away in some Fic folder of no return. Now I can
almost guarentee that I'll have at least twenty poeple reading (or at
least skimming) my story. Granted, the Idea has spawned it's share of
SPAM, but at least people will regognize it when it comes out.

	Also, not everybody gives C&C publicaly, I got maybe five public
reviews on The Uses of the Knife, but I got over forty private ones. I
perfer to give my C&C publically (it's good advertising for the fic) but
not everyone wants to have their opinions made known. Differnet strokes
sometimes.

(Opinions are like Dimesional Mallets, everybodies got one, their just)

People, please take SOME of the time and energy you are using to
generate Spam and put it to work writing fics, or helping other people
by giving them C&C on their fics. Don't get me wrong, I have NOTHING
against Spam being on the list **as long as it is balanced by C&C and
discussion of fics.**

Think about it, won't you?
