I couldn't help but notice this "split list" idea, and here's what
the former Queen of Spam has to say:

I am against this idea.  From one who has been here since near the beginning,
I have to say that while I, too, miss the interaction of the old days,
I wouldn't really trade those days for what we have now.

Maybe it's because I'm weird, or I spend too much time at school, but I
spend up to two hours reading and deleting a lot of the posts to the
list because of my tiny mailbox space.  One of the reasons I earned teh
title of "Queen of Spam" is because I used to, and still do, read a
majority of the posts to the list.  And respond to many.  

A lot of the spamfics that you thought were so fun, Damoo, turned out
to be a pain in the tochis.  Examples are: Poker Game the Sequel and
The Panda Hunt.  We're still trying to sort out the collateral
damage from the Panda Hunt on my end, and Bents still wants to wrtie
Poker Game 2.

The way the list is now is fine, the people are fine, the spam is fine
(a little over cooked, but still tasty) the fics are
excellent.  What more do you want, Damoo?
