Pantyhose's curses did not combine.  When his back got splashed, his back 
*lost* the whatever curse and *gained* the octopus curse.  The rest of his 
body *kept* the whatever curse because it was *dry*.

It's the same way Happosai did not turn into two guys when he touched the 
drowned-twins water, because only a bump on his head got wet.

       It's most likely they'd kill Ryoga in the process.  I mean, P-can IS
