Here's the storyline from my aborted Bubblegum Vengence story.

A series of datathiefs and assassinations has been going on in Genom.  While
it first seems like backroom business as usual, no one group is profiting or
pulling ahead.  If anything, the playing field between various factions seems
to be leveling.  And who is the mysterious Crusader that is trashing the
latest Combat and Battle boomers with ease?

In the story Crusader is the son of the researcher/engineer who developed the
Crusader suit and was then killed by Genom (along with the rest of his
family.)  The man is mad in both meanings of the word.  He wants to destroy
Genom and he figures the best way to do it is to set Genom up to destory
itself in a internal war.  The fact that it would also destroy the world is
not a concern to him.  "Damn be the world, by family is dead."

BTW:  The guy is an ex-SEAL that was picked up by the CIA a few years before
his family died.
