Erm. I've a grave idea that I may be the agewise upper bound.
Certainly am the oldest otoku locally. I admit to being 41, but that's
not in the usual decimal system. It's hexidecimal. Anybody else even close?

Not so far. I'm 43, but that's decimal.

My gripe is not so much the vicissitudes of age, but the lamentable
lack of spare time that seems to come with it (to tie in to another thread).
Between a job, my wife and kids, Little League, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts,
etc., I've managed to finish one shortfic and half a normal one in the
last year and a half. It wouldn't be so bad if my body didn't demand
six hours of sleep a day instead of the four or five I used to take. Sigh.
At least the whole family likes anime and manga, so I do manage to squeeze
those in.
