Great Idea there are a lot of shapechangers it seems in Japanese folklore
I don't think I've seen a fic that uses them and it seems like such a logical
step.
I wonder if there is any connection between the mythic shapeshifters and
the realitiy[so to speak] of jusenkyo.

The first fic I actually started revolves on the more magical traits of
Jusenkyo, and the mystical creatures of Japanese folklore, like the
hengeyokai (sp?), and the tengu, and it's set in medieval/feudal Japan.
I've gotten Vector to continue it for me, but the going gonna be slow.

I ask: are there any more feudal Japan stories out (besides the Martial
Arts Poetry story, and J. Austin Wilde's teaser, that is) Or, in
response to another of Brendan's suggestions, any more mob-rlated fics?
A crossover with Crying Freeman, Sanctuary, or Sin City? (not including
the one I've posted anywhere except the FFML, that is)

The only one I could recall is 'War of the Leaves' by Roy Rim.
Unfortunately, the story had not been concluded as yet and still no sign of
doing so. Mob related fics? Umm....what about 'Dark Family'? Does that count?
