  I can't see any other reason for it happening.  Take a look at the movie
with Toma:  _All_ the women were suddenly much more bouncy.  Why would
Takahashi need to do that anyway?  Onna Ranma had the best figure of the
group to begin with.. she beats Shampoo in that department.
  Takahashi did that for a particular reason:  Akane is very insecure
about Ranma as a woman.. Any comments from Ranma about his female figure
send Akane into a rage so quickly that it isn't funny.. and Ranma's worst
beatings usually come from those times.
