This doesn't sound much like Kodachi to me. Too friendly and informal. I
think she would say something like, "Dearest Ranma-sama! I have brought
some flowers for you, my one and only true love! How fortunate that the
evil Tendo girl is not present!"

As for the rest of this fic... I laughed at the ending when I realized
what they had in mind. I didn't find the middle part to be as funny ...
but maybe it's just me.

Actually, I found the whole thing disappointing. The flashback is virtually
the entire story, and it takes too long and wanders all over the place when
the point is made as quickly as a fifth of the way in. The parents'
statement at the end comes way outta left field. Also, of all four of the
main contenders in the Ranma Sweepstakes, Kodachi is the -least- believable
to have explain herself to Ranma. Simply put, she's not -sane- enough, at
least as I understand it, to rationally explain her hangups.

This story just didn't do anything to me or for me. If this is it, it needs
much work; if there's more, then maybe it'll make more sense with all the
pieces in place.
